Purchase Agreement and Sales Terms
Version: sales-1.9.0-2026-11-05-o113
Effective: 18 October 2026
These terms explain exactly what you are buying when you open an Ohara pack and how every opening works. In short: each pack you open is the purchase of one real, physical One Piece trading card chosen at random from a pool of cards that we hold in stock. Before you open, the pack page shows you every card in the pool, its condition, how many are left and the exact chance of drawing it. Those odds are fixed for the life of the pack's current "revision" and are the same for every customer. Our server makes the draw before any animation starts, and the animation cannot change the result. Every card we list is held in stock, in a limited quantity. When the copies of a card in a pack run out, we put a copy we hold in reserve back into the pack or buy the card back in; until it is back, an opening that draws it is paid the card's listed value in berries. A pack with stock replacement does not close because a card sells out - not even its top card - and its price and odds do not change; it only pauses for restocking if the cards it has no copy of carry half of its value. Your card is kept for you in your vault until you ask us to post it to you or sell it back to us. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply, including when a card is faulty, misdescribed or lost in our care.
Draft for review. This document is a draft prepared for review and must be reviewed by an Australian legal practitioner before it is relied on.
Launch blocker: Legal identity incomplete. All unresolved fields are registered in unresolved.json; owner/counsel must resolve them before paid launch.
Current build: Ohara remains a demo/test service. No real money is collected and no real cards are sold or posted. Proposed paid-service procedures in this draft (including refunds on closure, support response times, spending controls and retention) require the bracketed owner decisions and implementation before launch. Account and privacy obligations still apply to information actually collected.

1. About these terms
1.1 Who sells to you. Ohara is operated by UNRESOLVED: OPERATOR_LEGAL_NAME (ABN UNRESOLVED: ABN) of UNRESOLVED: REGISTERED_ADDRESS ("Ohara", "we", "us", "our"). When you open a pack, you are buying a card from us.
1.2 How these terms fit with our other terms. These Sales Terms form part of your agreement with us, together with our Terms of Service, our Buy-back Terms and our Privacy Policy. You accept them when you create your account. If these Sales Terms and the Terms of Service deal with the same subject differently, these Sales Terms apply to purchases, openings, postage and refunds.
1.3 Which version applies. Each opening is governed by the version of these terms in force when the opening was made. We record the version you accepted against your account and against each opening.
1.4 Your consumer rights come first. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where a clause of these terms would do that, it does not apply to the extent of the inconsistency.
2. Words we use
In these terms:
- Card means a physical One Piece trading card that we own and hold in stock, identified by its name, card number, set, printing (for example, a parallel or alternate-art printing) and condition.
- Pack means an Ohara product listed on a pack page. An Ohara pack is not a factory-sealed booster pack. It is the purchase of one card, selected at random from the pool of the pack's current revision.
- Revision means one published version of a pack, with its own fixed price, fixed odds and fixed list of cards. Each revision has a number (for example, "r3"), which is shown on the pack page.
- Pool means the physical cards allocated to a revision that have not yet been drawn.
- Odds means the chance, shown as a percentage to four decimal places (0.0001%) and as an approximate "1 in N", that a single opening draws a particular card. The odds of every card in a revision add up to exactly 100.0000%.
- Tier means the grouping we use to present cards on a pack page (for example, base, plus, hit and chase). Tiers are labels for presentation only; the odds of each card are what matter.
- Top card (also called the chase) means the card with the highest reference value listed in a revision.
- Opening means one purchase of one pack, which results in exactly one draw and exactly one card.
- Run means several openings of the same pack requested together (for example, "Open 10 packs"). Every opening in a run is a separate purchase with its own draw.
- Reference value means the value in Australian dollars that we display for a card, as explained in clause 9.
- Berries means Ohara's in-game currency described in our Terms of Service: spendable only on packs, with no cash value and no expiry. 100 berries cost A$1.00.
- Vault means the part of your account that lists the cards you own that we are holding for you.
- Postage request means a request for us to post cards from your vault to you (in our systems this is also called a "withdrawal"; it never means a cash withdrawal).
3. What you are buying
3.1 One card per opening. Each opening is a purchase of exactly one card from the pool of the revision shown on the pack page. You will receive one card for every opening that completes.
3.2 Selection by chance. Which card you receive is decided at random, in accordance with the odds shown for that revision. You are not buying a particular card, and we do not promise that you will receive any particular card, tier or value. The odds describe the chance of each card on every single opening; they are not a prediction of what will happen over any number of openings, and past results do not change future chances.
3.3 Real stock, restocked. Every card listed in a revision is backed by physical copies that we own: the copies allocated to that revision's pool, and copies of the same card we hold in reserve. The number of copies left in the pool is shown on the pack page. We do not list a card we do not hold. On a revision with stock replacement (shown on the pack page), when the last copy of a card in the pool is drawn we put a reserve copy of the same card, in the same printing and condition, back into the same revision; if we hold none, we buy the card back in on the open market and put it back into the revision when it arrives. Until it is back, an opening that draws that card is paid in berries instead of the card (a stock replacement), and the pack page shows the card as out of stock and what it pays. A stock replacement pays the card's listed berry amount for the box revision you accepted - the amount fixed when that revision was published and displayed when you pulled - and the credited berries never change afterwards, regardless of later market prices. A stock replacement never changes the odds or the price. UNRESOLVED: STOCK_REPLACEMENT_LEGAL_REVIEW
3.4 Pack names and images. Pack names, artwork and themes describe the cards in the pool (for example, cards from a particular set). Ohara packs are Ohara products. They are not products of, and are not endorsed by, the publisher of the One Piece Card Game or any other rights holder (see the Terms of Service, clause 13). Card images on our site are shown to identify the card; the physical card you receive is a copy of the listed printing in the listed condition.
3.5 Collecting, not investing. Cards are sold for collecting and enjoyment. Card values go up and down. Nothing we display is investment, financial or tax advice, and you should never open packs expecting to make money.
4. What the pack page tells you before you open
4.1 Full disclosure before purchase. Before you open a pack, the pack page shows you:
- (a) the pack name and the revision number that is on sale;
- (b) the price per opening in Australian dollars, including GST, and the same price in berries;
- (c) every card in the pool, with its name, card number, tier, condition, reference value, the number of copies left and its exact odds;
- (d) the total of the odds (always exactly 100.0000%);
- (e) the current top card; and
- (f) any notice that applies to the revision, such as the "top card has been pulled" notice described in clause 8.
4.2 The total for a run. If you choose to open several packs at once, the page shows the total price of the run before you start it.
4.3 What you agree to when you press "Open". When you press the open button, you are asking to buy the number of openings you selected, at the price, revision and odds shown on the page at that moment. Our server checks that the revision, price and odds in your request are exactly the ones on sale. If they are not, no draw is made and nothing is charged (see clause 6.3).
5. How the draw works
5.1 Server-side, before any animation. Every draw is made by our server, not by your device. The draw is completed and recorded before any animation or reveal begins. The reveal you see (including the "Full" and "Quick" reveal styles, sound, and the option to skip) is a presentation of a result that has already been decided. Nothing you do during the reveal, and no setting you choose, can change your result.
5.2 How a card is chosen. For each opening, our server uses a cryptographically secure random number generator to draw against the published odds of the revision. It then allocates to you one of the physical copies of the drawn card (in the condition listed) that are still in the pool. Each opening is drawn independently.
5.3 The same odds for everyone. The odds shown for a revision apply to every opening of that revision, by every customer. We do not change odds for particular customers, and nothing about your account, spending history or activity changes the odds you are drawn against.
5.4 What we record. For every opening we keep an append-only transaction record of the revision, the price, the time, the result, the physical card allocated to you and the version of these terms that applied. A fingerprint of the exact odds you were shown is recorded with your opening. Completed openings cannot be rewritten through the application. Record retention and eventual removal or de-identification of personal information are governed by the Privacy Policy and Data Handling Note.
5.5 Results are final. Once our server confirms that an opening has completed, the result is final. We do not offer re-draws, and we will not reverse a completed opening because of the card that was drawn. This does not affect your rights if something goes wrong (see clauses 12 and 13).
5.6 If you question a result. If you believe a result is wrong, contact us (clause 16). We will review the opening against our records and tell you what we find.
6. Fixed odds, revisions and stock
6.1 Odds never move during a revision. The odds of a revision are set when the revision is published and do not change while it is on sale. Openings, including other customers' openings, use up physical stock; they never change the odds.
6.2 Stock counts change. Because other customers are opening the same pack, the number of copies left can change while you are looking at the page. The pool activity panel on the pack page shows cards leaving the pool.
6.3 If the pool moves before your draw. Each request to open is tied to the pool exactly as you were shown it. If another opening changes the pool after your page last updated, our server will not draw for you on the old view. Instead, no draw is made, no berries are taken (or any berries taken are returned automatically), and your screen updates so that you can open again. Where only the stock has moved and the odds are unchanged, our site may refresh and continue automatically. You are never drawn against odds you were not shown.
6.4 When a revision closes or pauses. The odds of a revision are a promise backed by stock.
- (a) A revision with stock replacement does not close because a card sells out, not even its top card, and it does not pause for want of stock either: it stays on sale, in the same revision, at the same price and odds. The card is restocked as clause 3.3 says, and until it is back an opening that draws it is paid that card's listed value in berries instead of the card. The pack page shows, before you open, which cards we hold no copy of and what each of them pays. We measure how much of a revision's expected value sits on cards we hold no copy of, and we raise an alert to ourselves at the line published on the pack page (never more than half) so that we restock it; that alert changes nothing for you - it does not pause, re-price or alter the revision you are buying.
- (b) A revision without stock replacement closes automatically when the last copy of any card in its pool is drawn (because its odds could no longer be honoured), or when its remaining stock falls to a minimum level we have set for that revision.
We may also close or pause a revision, or pause all new openings, at any time for an operational, legal, security or integrity reason (for example, if we discover a listing error). The pack page shows that the revision is paused or closed and why. A closed revision stays on record with its published odds. A closed revision is never reopened at different odds or a different price.
6.5 Your opening and a closure. If your opening is the one that draws the last copy of a card, your opening completes normally and the card is yours. A revision without stock replacement then closes immediately afterwards; one with it stays on sale (clause 6.4). If your request reaches us after a revision has closed, or while it is paused, it is refused: no draw is made and nothing is charged (or any berries taken are returned automatically).
6.6 Restocks and new revisions. On a revision with stock replacement, a restock puts copies back into the same revision, at the same price and odds (clauses 3.3 and 6.4(a)). Any other change to a pack - a different price, list of cards or odds, or bringing back a pack that has closed - is published as a new revision with its own price, its own list of cards and its own disclosed odds. A new revision may be more or less favourable to you than an earlier one in any respect. You will always see the new revision on the pack page before you open it. A scheduled drop is never restocked (clause 6.8).
6.7 Sales pauses. If we pause new openings, your vault, your berries, your history, postage requests and buy-back (unless we have suspended it under the Buy-back Terms) remain available.
6.8 Scheduled drops. A scheduled drop is a new pack that we announce ahead of its sale, with a set sale time.
- (a) Published and frozen in advance. A drop's price, its list of cards and its odds are published on its pack page when we announce it, and they are frozen from then on: they do not change before it opens, and nobody - including us - can edit them. We can only cancel a drop; a cancelled drop is not sold.
- (b) The sale time. Nobody can open a drop before its sale time, except a customer whose level gives early access (Terms of Service, clause 9.2), who may open it from the time shown to them. An opening requested too early is refused: no draw is made and nothing is charged.
- (c) When a drop sells out. A drop follows clause 6.4: when the last copy of any card in it is drawn - including during early access - it closes. A drop that has closed has ended: it is never restocked, topped up or replaced by a new revision, and clauses 6.6 and 8 do not apply to it. If it sells out before its sale time, its pack page and the drop calendar show it as sold out.
- (d) Follow-on drops. Any later drop is a new drop, with its own pack page, its own sale time and its own published odds.
7. Multi-pack runs
7.1 Every pack is its own purchase. In a run, each pack is a separate opening with its own draw, its own charge and its own entry in your ledger.
7.2 Stock moving during a run. If other customers' openings change the stock during your run, the run continues at the same odds, because the odds have not changed.
7.3 A card sells out during your run. On a revision with stock replacement, your run continues at the same price and odds when a card sells out: a pack that draws a card with no copy left is paid its listed value in berries (clause 3.3). On a revision without stock replacement, if a pack in your run takes the last copy of a card, the rest of your run continues at the same price only while the cards still in the box meet the odds rules every published revision must meet. Each later pack is then drawn from the cards still in the box, with the sold-out card's odds shared among them in proportion, and your ledger shows it. If the cards left do not meet those rules, the run stops there. The packs not yet opened are not opened and not charged. If a new revision is then on sale, we show you its price and odds, and the rest of the run only continues if you choose to continue at them. UNRESOLVED: RUN_CONTINUATION_RULE
7.4 A closure during a run. If the revision closes during your run and no new revision is available, the run ends. Packs already opened stand; nothing else is drawn or charged.
7.5 Stopping a run. You can stop a run at any time. Packs already opened stand; no further packs are opened or charged.
7.6 Connection problems. Each opening in a run carries a unique reference. If your connection drops and your device sends a request again, our server recognises the reference and cannot open or charge the same pack twice. If you are unsure whether an opening went through, check your ledger or contact us.
8. When the top card is pulled
8.1 The rule. When an opening draws the last copy of a revision's top card, that opening completes normally and the card belongs to the customer who drew it. On a revision with stock replacement the pack stays on sale at the same price and odds: the top card comes back from our reserve or is bought back in (clause 3.3), and until it is back an opening that draws it is paid its listed value in berries; the pack page says so. On a revision without stock replacement the revision closes (clause 6.4), and we automatically publish a new revision of the pack without that card, so the pack does not simply end because its top card has gone. (This clause does not apply to a scheduled drop: a drop that closes has ended - clause 6.8(c).) In that new revision:
- (a) the next most valuable card becomes the top card;
- (b) the price is recalculated for the cards that remain; it may be higher or lower than the previous price. The pack page shows the old and the new price, and you see the new price before you open (clause 8.2). UNRESOLVED: SUCCESSOR_PRICE_INCREASE;
- (c) the odds of every remaining card are newly published for the new revision, and they are fixed for that revision like any other; and
- (d) the pack page displays a clear notice that the top card has been pulled, naming the card that was pulled and the new top card, and showing the old and new price. The notice stays until we top up the stock.
8.2 No surprises. You will see the new revision, its price and its odds before you open it. If you are part-way through a run, clause 7.3 applies.
8.3 If a new revision cannot be published. If we cannot publish a new revision on these terms (for example, because too few cards remain), the pack stays closed until we restock it.
8.4 Weekly price check. Each Monday we check each pack against the new weekly reference values. Any price adjustment is limited to 10% of the price at that reset, rounded within that limit, and is published as a new price revision. Cards and odds are unchanged by a price adjustment. The exact price you accept when opening is the price charged; an old page must refresh before accepting a changed offer. Completed openings retain their accepted price and terms.
9. Reference values
9.1 What a reference value is. A reference value is our own figure for what a card is worth, in Australian dollars, at the time it is displayed. We derive reference values from third-party market data for the relevant printing of the card, converted to Australian dollars, and lock the displayed values each Monday at 00:00 Australia/Melbourne (AEST or AEDT), holding them for the week. Daily market updates are used internally by the house. The value displayed in berries is the same number at 1 berry = A$0.01.
9.2 What a reference value is not. A reference value is not a valuation or appraisal of your individual copy, not a guarantee of what you could sell the card for elsewhere, and not a promise that the card will keep its value. Market prices for a particular card in a particular condition may be higher or lower.
9.3 Where reference values matter. Reference values are used to rank cards on the pack page (including identifying the top card), to show you what your pulls and your vault are worth today, and to set the price at which we will buy a card back from you under the Buy-back Terms while buy-back is available.
10. Prices and payment
10.1 Prices. All prices are in Australian dollars and show the total payable, including GST where applicable and unavoidable charges. GST registration and tax-invoice details must be confirmed before paid launch: UNRESOLVED: GST_REGISTRATION_STATUS. The price of each opening is fixed for the revision and is shown on the pack page in dollars and in berries.
10.2 Paying with berries. Openings are paid for with berries from your account. When you open a pack, the price of that opening is deducted from your berry balance. If you do not have enough berries, the opening is declined, nothing is drawn and nothing is deducted. How you buy berries is explained in our Terms of Service, clause 7.
10.3 Postage is separate. Postage is not included in the price of a pack. It is quoted and paid for separately when you ask us to post cards (clause 14).
10.4 No hidden charges. We do not add booking, service or card surcharges to the price of a pack. UNRESOLVED: SURCHARGE_POLICY (confirm no surcharges are charged on berry top-ups; see the FOR LEGAL REVIEW list in README.md.)
10.5 Listing errors. If we publish a revision that contains an obvious error (for example, a mistaken price or a card listed in the wrong condition), we will close the revision as soon as we become aware of it. Openings that have already completed stand, and we will not take back a card you have drawn. If the error means a card you received does not match its description, you have the remedies in clause 13.
10.6 Tax invoices. Your ledger records every purchase. If you need a tax invoice, contact us and we will provide one. UNRESOLVED: TAX_INVOICE_PROCESS
11. Ownership, custody and risk
11.1 When the card becomes yours. Ownership of the card passes to you when your opening completes and the payment for it (the berry deduction) is confirmed. If there is a delay in confirming payment after the draw, the card is reserved for you and cannot be allocated to anyone else.
11.2 We look after your cards. We hold cards in your vault on your behalf, free of charge, and we take reasonable care of them. Cards in your vault are kept separately recorded against your account, one record per physical card.
11.3 If something happens to a card in our care. If a card in your vault is lost, stolen, destroyed or damaged while we hold it, we will tell you and, at your choice, either replace it with a copy of the same printing in the same or better condition (if we have one), or compensate you for it at no less than its reference value at the time we tell you. This does not cap or replace any compensation or remedy required by consumer law. UNRESOLVED: CUSTODY_COMPENSATION_FORM (confirm whether compensation is paid in berries, money or either at the customer's choice; see the R8 legal review register.)
11.4 Risk on delivery. Cards remain at our risk until they are delivered to the address you gave us (or left there in accordance with any authority to leave you give the carrier). After delivery, the cards are at your risk.
11.5 Storage. We do not currently charge for storage or limit how long cards may stay in your vault. If we decide to introduce a storage fee or time limit, we will give you at least UNRESOLVED: STORAGE_CHANGE_NOTICE_DAYS days' notice, it will apply only from the end of that notice period, and you will be able to have your cards posted to you or sold back before it applies.
12. Card condition and authenticity
12.1 Genuine cards. Every card we sell is a genuine card. We inspect cards when they enter our stock.
12.2 Conditions we use. Each card in a pool is listed in one of these conditions, assessed by us when the card enters our stock. Cards are ungraded ("raw") unless the listing says otherwise.
| Code | Condition | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| NM | Near Mint | Little or no visible wear. Minimal edge or corner wear, no creases, bends, stains or writing. |
| LP | Lightly Played | Minor wear visible on close inspection, such as light edge whitening, light scuffs or minor corner wear. No creases or significant damage. |
| MP | Moderately Played | Noticeable wear, such as moderate edge or corner wear, scuffing or minor surface marks. May have a minor bend. |
| HP | Heavily Played | Heavy wear, such as significant edge or corner wear, creases or surface damage, but the card is intact. |
| DMG | Damaged | Significant damage, such as tears, heavy creasing, water damage, writing or missing pieces. |
12.3 Natural variation. Trading cards are mass-produced printed items. Minor factory variations (for example, slight centring differences or tiny print marks) can occur. Whether a card meets the consumer guarantees depends on its description, price and all relevant circumstances; a condition label does not rule out a defect or remove your rights.
12.4 If a card is not as described. If a card you receive is not genuine, is not the card listed, or is in a materially worse condition than listed, it does not match its description, and you are entitled to a remedy under clause 13.
13. Refunds, remedies and your consumer guarantees
13.1 Consumer guarantees. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Our services (including postage, custody of your cards and the operation of the draw) also come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
13.2 Change of mind. Because each card is selected at random and allocated to you at the moment of the draw, we do not offer refunds or exchanges simply because you are disappointed with the card you drew or have changed your mind after an opening has completed. This does not limit your rights under clause 13.1 or anywhere else in these terms. (If you would rather have value than the card, you may be able to sell it back to us under the Buy-back Terms.)
13.3 When we will put things right. Examples of problems we will fix include:
- (a) a card that is not genuine, not the listed card, or in a materially worse condition than listed;
- (b) a card damaged or lost while in our custody or in transit to you;
- (c) berries deducted for an opening where no card was drawn or allocated;
- (d) an opening or postage fee charged more than once for the same request;
- (e) a draw that did not follow the odds published for the revision because of a fault in our systems; and
- (f) a postage request that we fail to dispatch within a reasonable time.
13.4 Openings that do not complete. If berries are deducted but our systems cannot complete a draw, the opening is placed on hold, nothing is drawn, and the berries are returned to your balance (automatically where the cause is clear, or after review by our support team). Our ledger shows these returns as "Refund: no card was drawn".
13.5 How we provide remedies. Depending on the problem and on what the Australian Consumer Law entitles you to, we will replace the card with a copy of the same printing in the same or better condition, refund the price you paid, or compensate you. An automatic reversal of an unsuccessful opening restores the berries debited. For a consumer-law refund, we will explain the available remedy and return payment in the form required by law, normally the original form of payment unless you agree otherwise. We will not force you to accept store credit instead of a money refund to which you are entitled. Refund rights are not limited by a later fall in the card's reference value. Where you are entitled to choose the remedy (for example, for a major failure), you choose.
13.6 Returning a faulty card. If we need a faulty card back, we will arrange and pay for its return.
13.7 Please tell us promptly. Please contact us as soon as you can, ideally within UNRESOLVED: DEFECT_REPORT_DAYS days of receiving a delivery, with your order details and photos if possible. This helps us investigate (for example, with the carrier). It does not shorten the time you have to exercise your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
14. Postage
14.1 Asking us to post your cards. You may ask us to post any card in your vault that is eligible for postage. You can include up to 20 cards in one shipment. Cards that are reserved, on hold, or already in another postage request cannot be included.
14.2 Australian addresses only. We currently post only to addresses in Australia.
14.3 Choose a tier and see the quote first. Eligible choices depend on your postcode, card count, packed weight and total weekly locked card value (clause 9). We show every eligible tier before confirmation:
- Letter (untracked): 1–5 cards, total value at most A$30, large letter up to 125 g. Untracked - no compensation if lost. This service includes no carrier compensation for postal loss. It does not remove your non-excludable consumer-law rights or our obligations under clauses 11.4 and 14.10.
- Tracked letter: 1–5 cards, total value at most A$100. One card uses DL Max with tracking (up to 125 g); 2–5 use Medium C5 with tracking (up to 500 g). Up to A$100 carrier compensation is included, subject to carrier conditions.
- Tracked parcel: up to 20 cards, using the applicable Parcel Post weight band. Above A$100, the quote adds Extra Cover for each additional A$100 or part. Above A$500 we do not quote automatically: request an operator quote for Registered Post and appropriate cover.
The current carrier prices, handling fee per shipment, any Extra Cover and total are itemised on your quote. Free shipping is not on by default; if an advertised promotion applies, its discount appears in the breakdown. A quote is valid until the time shown (up to 15 minutes, ending sooner at Monday's value reset). To place the request, select a tier, accept its exact quoted fee and give a delivery address in the quoted postcode. An operator-review request alone does not reserve cards or charge postage.
14.4 Paying for postage. The postage fee is charged when you confirm the request, using UNRESOLVED: POSTAGE_PAYMENT_METHODS.
14.5 Your address. You are responsible for giving us a complete and accurate delivery address. The address is saved with the request when you confirm it and cannot be edited afterwards; if you need to change it, cancel the request (if it has not been packed) and make a new one.
14.6 Cancelling a request. You can cancel a postage request until we have packed it. If you cancel, the postage fee is refunded and the cards return to your vault. Once a request has been packed it cannot be cancelled.
14.7 Cards in a postage request. From the moment you confirm a postage request, the cards in it are locked to that request and cannot be sold back.
14.8 Dispatch and tracking. We aim to dispatch postage requests within UNRESOLVED: DISPATCH_BUSINESS_DAYS business days. The quoted services use Australia Post. We tell you when the shipment is posted. Tracked services include their tracking number; an untracked letter has no tracking number. A shipment above A$500 requires the operator's Registered Post quote before confirmation.
14.9 Packaging. Cards are packed to protect them in transit (for example, in sleeves and rigid protection). UNRESOLVED: PACKAGING_STANDARD
14.10 Lost or damaged parcels. If a parcel is lost, or arrives damaged, contact us. Because cards are at our risk until delivery (clause 11.4), we will work with the carrier and assess the facts promptly. We will provide any remedy required by consumer law within a reasonable time, including replacement, refund or compensation as appropriate, and the applicable postage refund. We do not make your remedy conditional on the carrier accepting liability or paying our claim.
14.11 Undeliverable parcels. If a parcel is returned to us because the address you gave was incomplete or incorrect, or because it was not collected, we will return the cards to your vault and tell you. A new postage request (with a new fee) will be needed to send them again. If a parcel is returned to us because of our error or the carrier's, we will re-send it at our cost.
15. Demo mode
15.1 What demo mode is. Until we announce that paid sales have started, Ohara operates in demo mode. In demo mode:
- (a) no real money is taken and none can be paid to you;
- (b) berries (including any demo welcome credit) are demonstration credits only: they cannot be bought, have no monetary value, and cannot be refunded, sold, transferred or exchanged for anything;
- (c) cards, values and stock may be demonstration data, and openings, buy-backs and postage requests made in demo mode do not transfer title to real cards or arrange actual postage;
- (d) demo postage quotes use the configured carrier rates, and no parcel is sent; and
- (e) we may reset demo accounts, balances, vaults and history at any time without notice.
15.2 Please do not enter real delivery or payment details. In demo mode, do not enter a real delivery address or real payment details. Optional Stripe Checkout is test mode only. Account information you do provide is still handled under our Privacy Policy; demo mode does not remove your privacy or other mandatory legal rights.
15.3 When paid sales start. Before paid sales start, we will tell you, publish the version of these terms that will apply, and ask you to accept it. Nothing done in demo mode carries over into paid use unless we say so expressly.
